Hi!

Perhaps you've seen Jay Sekulow on TV or heard him on the radio—and know that he is a driving member of the American Center Of Law And Justice (ACLJ), an organization fighting against the erosion of our rights in the US.

He has argued a number of cases before the Supreme Court—and has an impressive track record of winning.

Last year, for example, he won a preliminary 3.5 Million dollar judgement against the IRS—for their targeting of Tea Party groups during the Obama administration.

What some may not know is that he is also a musician!

I just learned that when I saw his band performing "Where I Stand" on Mike Huckabee's show on TBN.

The Jay Sekulow Band includes some great musicians like singer John Schlitt from Head East (Never Been Any Reason) and Petra—and singer John Elefante from Kansas!!

Left To Right: John Schlitts, Phil Keaggy, and John Elephante
Left To Right:  John Schlitt With Phil Keaggy (Famed Christian Guitarist)—and John Elefante

BTW—both singers voices are still excellent—and Elefante's range is STILL amazing!!

It's a GREAT song—with an amazing message—and I knew instantly I wanted to share it here.

So check it out the music video below—and let it encourage and lift your heart and spirit!

Lyrics are posted under it.

Where I Stand - Lyrics

What I see from where I stand,
I can't begin to comprehend,
Awaken fear, just to think—
How far some people will descend,

And what is now—has been before,
Over and over it's been ignored—

It is a heart—whatever soul,
That slaughters innocence—the end becomes a means,
A twisted faith, to justify a violent need,

Guided by lies and deceit,
Nothing the eyes should ever see—

Now—my heart is crying—deep beneath the voices lying,
I can't stand to see this evil anymore,

And while the world is sleeping,
We're condemned for just believing,
I can't stand to see this evil anymore,
Ohhh—

The true intent—has been laid bare,
I can't pretend it's just not real,
The time is now—we must be strong—and not allow it to prevail,

Father in heaven—hear our prayer,
Strengthen your souls—lost in despair,
Ohhh—

And now my heart is crying—deep beneath the voices lying,
I can't stand to see this evil anymore,

And while the world is sleeping,
We're condemned for just believing,
I can't stand to see this evil anymore,
Nooo—

Are we blind to all of this—in an effort to appease—
This restless feeling of unease?

Now my heart is crying—deep beneath the voices lying,
I can't stand to see this evil anymore,

And while the world is sleeping,
We're condemned for just believing,
I can't stand to see this evil anymore,
No—I can't stand this evil anymore,
Anymore—

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
