Years ago I heard Light of the World by Randy Stonehill — and although I thought it was a nice song it never really resonated with me.

Recently I heard it again and was struck by it's gentle simplicity and beauty.

Several times since then I've heard it playing in my mind — and the other morning woke up "hearing" it.

With that — I knew it was time to post it here.

Most often this blog just shares Christian music — but I just saw two videos that were so awesome I thought I'd share them here.

I'd never heard of Diamond D. — but at one time he covered himself in tattoos — and then made the decision to change from a man to a woman.

Today this sort of things brings cheers from our media and the others in this country.

But Diamond D. found it did not lead to happiness — and he felt like a phony and a fraud.

The first video below is short and he doesn't say how it happened — but he came to know Jesus and it clearly and radically changed his life.

Yes — he is now living with the consequences of his decisions — but with eternity to look forward to — this is only for a moment.

Best of all — he is now finally HAPPY and at peace.

If you know someone who is struggling with this same issue — please listen carefully to what he says about wishing there was some one who'd helped him when he was making the decisions to alter himself.

Also — please note the audio and video quality are low — but the content is out of this world!!  : )

The second video almost lead me to NOT share anything about his story - because he admits in it that he still struggles with issues regarding his identity.

But then you see his deep love for God — and his desire (said through tears) to serve him and hear Him say to him one day: "Well done, good and faithful servant."

This video also gives a bit more of his background including how he came to know Jesus as Lord.

I was in search of an older (1970's) Christian song and was using Google and YouTube to try and find it.

As often happens — I started surfing from one link to the next until I landed on a very unique channel on YouTube— one unlike any I've found before.

Created by a young woman, Destiny Cross, who also goes by ShadowCa7, she shares video game, cosplay, children's stories, and music videos — in a gentle, peaceful, unaffected way.

Although her channel is not specifically all Christian themes - I believe that her love of the Lord comes pouring through (in everything I've seen so far).
