Connla - Wayfaring Stranger - Moving Music Video

Hi,

Recently, I found a lovely version of, Wayfaring Stranger, by the Irish group, Connla—and have embedded the moving video the band created for it below.

The group uses beautiful vocals and traditional Irish instruments to evoke a wonderful musical arrangement of this 19th century American folk/Gospel song about being reunited with family and our Lord when we reach our eternal home with Him in the new heaven and earth.

Revelation 21:4

I pray this beautiful song and video will Bless you—and your heart and life will be flooded with the true knowledge of the abundant Mercy and Grace found only through the King of Kings, and Lord of lords—Jesus the Messiah and Perfect Lamb of God.

If you don't already know Jesus as Lord—you can learn more about how to start your new life with Him below.

Lyrics are found under the video

Wayfaring Stranger - Lyrics

I am a poor wayfaring stranger
Traveling through this world alone
There is no fear, no toil or danger
In that bright land to which I go

I'm goin' there to see my mother
I'm goin' there, no more to roam
I am just goin' over Jordan
I am just goin' over home

I know dark clouds will gather 'round me
I know my way is rough and steep
But beautiful fields they lie before me
I know my way is rough and steep

I'm goin' there to see my Father
He said he'd meet me on the road
I am just goin' over Jordan
I am just goin' over home

I am a poor wayfaring stranger
Traveling through this world alone
There is no fear, no toil or danger
In that bright land to which I go

I'm goin' there to see my mother
I'm goin' there, no more to roam
I am just goin' over Jordan
I am just goin' over home

Thanks for stopping by—

May God Richly Bless you!

Jesus is LORD!

Time is growing short!

Seek Him!

   Romans 10:9-10

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

---------------------------------

If you've made this decision—believed it in your heart and confessed it with your mouth—let God speak to you by reading the Bible—and seek out fellowship with others who also believe.

Pour out your heart to God in Prayer (simply speaking to Him in reverence)—asking Him to reveal Himself to you and to provide for your needs.

Life in Jesus is the best decision you will ever make.

God Bless You!
