Everlasting God - Lincoln Brewster

Hi,

Recently. I was driving in my car when Everlasting God, by Lincoln Brewster, came on the radio.

I've heard it many times before—but dropped in on it somewhere in the middle—and was enjoying hearing it with "fresh" ears—and really liked the guitar solo—and THEN was very moved when the little child reads from Isaiah 40:28-31 at the end!

I pray you will also be Blessed as you listen—and God will speak His abundant Mercy, Grace, and Love into your life and heart!

If you don't already know Jesus as Lord—you can learn more about how to start your new life with Him below.

Everlasting God - Lyrics

Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord

Our God, You reign forever
Our hope, our strong deliverer

You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
You do not faint
You won't grow weary
You're the defender of the weak
You comfort those in need
You lift us up on wings like eagles

Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord

Our God, You reign forever
Our hope, our strong deliverer.

You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
You do not faint
You won't grow weary
You're the defender of the weak
You comfort those in need
You lift us up on wings like eagles

You are the everlasting God
The everlasting God
The everlasting God
The everlasting...

Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord
Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord
Wait upon the Lord, we will wait upon the Lord

[child speaking]

The Lord is the everlasting God
The creator of all the Earth
He never grows weak or weary
No one can measure the depths of His understanding
He gives power to the weak, and strength to the powerless
Even youths will become weak and tired
And young men will fall in exhaustion
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength
They will soar high on wings like eagles
They will run and not grow weary
They will walk and not faint

Thanks so much for stopping by—

May God Richly Bless you!

Jesus is LORD!

Time is growing short!

Seek Him!

-------------------------------------------

   Romans 10:9-10

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

---------------------------------

If you've made this decision—believed it in your heart and confessed it with your mouth—let God speak to you by reading the Bible—and seek out fellowship with others who also believe.

Pour out your heart to God in Prayer (simply speaking to Him in reverence)—asking Him to reveal Himself to you and to provide for your needs.

Life in Jesus is the best decision you will ever make.

God Bless You!

  1. Hi Jephyr,
I tried to play the video but a message came up saying that it was not made available to hear in this country. However, I know the song and have sung it many times, it is lovely.
    God bless.

    1. Thanks for visiting and commenting as always, Brenda! I get those messages at times as well. In this case that video is from Lincoln Brewster's YouTube channel so I don't know why it would be blocked for you. Sometimes it's difficult to understand why corporations do what they do. Anyway—glad you enjoy that song too. Thanks again and God Bless you too!
