What Child Is This - Mercy Me

John 1:14
Hi!

Can you believe another Christmas is almost upon us—and that we're about to turn the calendar to 2019?

Time flies!

: )

------------------------------

I found an excellent version of What Child Is This by the band, Mercy Me—and love what they did with this old carol—especially their additional praise at the end.

The video is over-laid with some exquisite old paintings that illustrate the lyrics beautifully.

I pray this music will speak the Light of life into your heart—the Grace and Mercy—of the Creator and Lord of All—Jesus the Son of God, the Messiah and Savior!

Lyrics are included under the video.

(Read how to be saved below)

What Child Is This

What child is this,
Who, laid to rest
On Mary's lap is sleeping
Whom angels greet with anthems sweet
While shepherds watch are keeping

This, this is Christ the King
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing
Haste, haste to bring Him laud
The babe, the son of Mary

So bring Him incense, gold, and myrrh
Come, peasant, King, to own Him
The King of kings salvation brings
Let loving hearts enthrone Him

This, this is Christ the King
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing
Haste, haste to bring Him laud
The babe, the son of Mary

Hallelujah!

What child is this,
Who, laid to rest
On Mary's lap is sleeping

Hallelujah!  < Meaning "Praise The Lord")

Whom angels greet with anthems sweet
While shepherds watch are keeping

Hallelujah!

Hallelujah!

Raise, raise the son on high
The virgin sings her lullaby
Joy, joy for Christ is born
The babe, the son of Mary

This, this is Christ the King
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing
Haste, haste to bring Him laud
The babe, the son of Mary

Luke 1:46-50

Thanks so much for stopping by!

May God Richly Bless you!

Jesus is LORD!

Time is growing short!

Seek Him!

   Romans 10:9-10

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

---------------------------------

If you've made this decision — believed it in your heart and confessed it with your mouth — let God speak to you by reading the Bible — and seek out fellowship with others who also believe.

Pour out your heart to God in Prayer (simply speaking to Him in reverence) — asking Him to reveal Himself to you and to provide for your needs.

Life in Jesus is the best decision you will ever make.

God Bless!
