Anointed Gospel: Jason Crabb - I'd Rather Have Jesus - Live!

Video Below:  Jason Crabb's Wonderful Live Performance Of I'd Rather Have Jesus

Jason Crabb first burst onto the Christian Gospel music scene while performing with his family — which included his twin brothers and two sisters — and they'd sometimes be joined by their dad and stepmother.

While all of The Crabb Family are very gifted and talented singers — it was oldest brother Jason's heart-felt, anointed vocals, and sincere and humble presence that first caught the attention of many.

Below, you'll find a video of Jason Crabb's wonderful and anointed live performance of the Christian standard, I'd Rather Have Jesus.

Filmed in a church-like setting — Jason is surrounded by other Gospel singers and musicians — and notable country artists such as Randy Travis and members of the Oak Ridge Boys.

I'd Rather Have Jesus - Lyrics

I'd rather have Jesus than silver or gold
I'd rather be His than have riches untold
I'd rather have Jesus than houses or lands
I'd rather be led by Your nail-scarred hand

Than to be a king of a vast domain
Than be held in sin's dread sway
Oh, I'd rather have Jesus than anything
This world can afford today

I'd rather have Jesus than man's applause
I would rather be faithful to His dear cause
I would rather have Jesus than all the worldwide fame
I'd rather be true to His holy name

Than to be a king of a vast domain
Than be held in sin's dread sway
Oh, I'd rather have you Jesus than anything
This world can afford today

Oh, I'd rather have you Jesus than anything
This world can afford....

Spoken:  I love you Jesus

More than anything
Love you Jesus
More than anything

Jesus is LORD!

Time is growing short!

Seek Him!

   Romans 10:9-10

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

---------------------------------

If you've made this decision—believed it in your heart and confessed it with your mouth—let God speak to you by reading the Bible—and seek out fellowship with others who also believe.

Pour out your heart to God in Prayer (simply speaking to Him in reverence)—asking Him to reveal Himself to you and to provide for your needs.

Life in Jesus is the best decision you will ever make.

God Bless You!

Awesome Live Performance / Christian Music Video: The Crabb Family Reunion - Through The Fire

Published on 9-29-2013

Hello!

Several years ago, as I was surfing through the TV channels I came upon a Christian station that was airing a live performance of the Crabb Family, a gospel music group made up of five siblings (three brothers and two sisters).

I was immediately struck by their strong harmonies and excellent music.

Then when the oldest brother, Jason, took lead vocal parts I was knocked about by his energy and passion, and how real his faith seemed.  Nothing about him seemed at all manufactured.

Later I went to the internet and was very sad to hear that they were no longer ministering together as a group.

Fortunately they're all still all ministering and performing in various incarnations...and with increasing frequency they are making appearances together again.

From wikipedia:  In August 2006, the Crabb Family, Jason, Adam, Aaron, Terah and Kelly decided to follow individual paths. The siblings felt it was time to move to a new season in their lives. Each member plans to pursue their separate ministries.

Recently I found this live video of them singing Through The Fire (written by their father Gerald), from their video, The Crabb Family Reunion.

What makes performance so special is that both their father and step-mother (Kathy) join them on stage.  You can see and feel the emotion, and some of them have tears in their eyes.

Hope you feel Blessed by their music.

Deuteronomy31:8 (NIV)

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
----------------------------------------

(Verse 1) So many times I've questioned certain circumstances,
And things I could not understand,
And many times in trials, weakness blurs my vision,
That's when my frustration gets so out of hand,
But it's then I am reminded,
I've never been forsaken,
Never had to stand one test alone,
That's when I look at all the victories,
And the power of God starts rising up in me,
And It's through the fire my weakness, it's made strong,

(Chorus) He never promised that the cross would not get heavy,
And the hill would not be hard to climb,
He never offered our victories without fighting,
But He said help would always come in time,

Just remember when you're standing in the valley of decision,
And the adversary says give in,
Just hold on,
Our Lord will show up (YEAH),
And He will take you through the fire again,

(Bridge) I know within myself that I would surly perish,
Oh But if I trust the mighty hand of God,
He'll shield the flame again,

Again

(Chorus) He never promised that the cross would not get heavy,
And the hill would not be hard to climb,
He never offered our victories without fighting,
He said help would always come in time,

Just remember when you're standing in the valley of decision,
And the adversary says give in,
Just hold on,
Our Lord will show up (YES!)
And He will take you through the fire again,

Just hold on,
Our Lord will show up,
And He will take you through the fire again,

Gospel Music: The Crabb Family - My Redeemer Lives

This beautiful version of the Christian music classic My Redeemer Lives is from the DVD: Torch - A Live Celebration of Southern Gospels Next Generation.

Performed by The Crabb Family, "a talented Southern Gospel group originally from Beaver Dam, Kentucky, who have had Sixteen Number 1 songs on the national radio charts." (wikipedia)

The song features oldest brother Jason on lead vocals.

If you are a Presberterian it's alright to tap your foot along with the music!  ; )

Pentecostals might wanna get ready to sing and shout!

Job 38 - Then the Lord spoke to Job out of the storm. He said:

“Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?
    Tell me, if you understand.
Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!
Who stretched a measuring line across it?
On what were its footings set,
or who laid its cornerstone —
while the morning stars sang together
and all the angels shouted for joy?

“Who shut up the sea behind doors
when it burst forth from the womb,
when I made the clouds its garment
and wrapped it in thick darkness,
10 when I fixed limits for it
and set its doors and bars in place,
11 when I said, ‘This far you may come and no farther;
here is where your proud waves halt’?
