Paul Clark - Good, Good Morning

Hello!

Paul Clark In A Snapshot Probably
Taken In The Early To Mid 1970's

Years ago—when I lived in a college town in Northern Colorado—a Gospel singer named Paul Clark used to put on concerts there—and I went to several.

Clark was just beginning his rise in Christian Rock then—and is now considered a pioneer of that era.

His early music leaned a bit towards acoustic soft-rock—but around the time I saw him in concert he was embracing more and more of a soft-jazz-rock style popular at that time.

Scott Bachman, writing on his blog, gives a very detailed account about Clark's musical history to the present if you'd like to learn more about him:

One of Clark's songs from his album Drawn To The Light (1982), "Good Good Morning," has stuck with me all these years—and so I've decided to share it here.

Lyrics are included under the "music-only" video below.

Hope this song Blesses you and fills your heart with a reminder of God's peace and love.

Paul Clark - Good, Good Morning - Lyrics

A light in my eyes,
Crystalline morning is dawning—in my room,

Hands to the skies,
My heart is open like a flower—in full bloom,

So clean and so pure,
You are with me that's for sure,

Good, Good morning, My Lord,
This day—I'll live for you,

Breakfast in bed,
My heart is feasting on the bread and the butter of your Word,

Now that I'm fed,
I'm ready to give of the Treasures that I've heard,

Use me this day,
So others can say,

Good, Good morning, My Lord,
This day—I'll live for you,

Thanks so much for stopping by!

May God Richly Bless you!

Jesus is LORD!

Time is growing short!

Seek Him!

Romans 10:9-10

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
