I love this comment on the following video:
"I am often fearful about the future of America but every now and then I get a glimpse of the country I love."
About the video below: Journey of Faith Church in Manhattan Beach California performed a Christmas "Flash Mob" at the South Bay Galleria in Redondo Beach on December 18, 2010.
It is very touching to see shoppers of all ages stop, listen...and many start to sing along. Trust me...you'll want to watch the video unfold until at least the 4:15 minute mark.
If you are not moved at that point I'll gladly refund your money! ; )
As I wrote in a recent post about another Christmas Flash mob, December 6, 2012
- Awesome Video: Hallelujah Chorus - Mall Food Court Flash Mob:
"As numerous Christian monuments and displays are legally challenged and removed, and our school systems try to silence their Christian students free speech, and businesses try to remove "Christ" from Christmas and refer to it as "the Holidays"...these flash mobs bring to mind Jesus' words on His triumphal entry into Jerusalem in Luke 19:37-40:
37 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:
38 “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the
Lord!”
“Peace in heaven and glory
in the highest!”
39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus,
“Teacher, rebuke your disciples!”
40 “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry
out.”
