POWERFUL! The Crabb Family - Through the Fire (Live)

Last night on TBN, The Crabb Family hosted a program and sang, Through the Fire—written by their father Gerald—and it reminded me how much that song speaks to me.

After a quick search I found a video (shared below) of the Crabb's performing a version of that song that is VERY powerful.  It's from 2002, so they all look very young and sing with fire and enthusiasm I've not seen in other renditions.

In fact, back on 9-29-2013, I shared a different video of the family performing the same song—but that one is a more thoughtful, stripped down version.

In today's video however, a young Jason (the eldest) leads his siblings and dad as they all sing with even more energy and passion backed by more elaborate music—leaving Jason emotionally wiping tears from his eyes in the end.

I pray their music will speak to your heart as well—and remind you of the overflowing Love, Protection, and Blessings of knowing our Lord Jesus Christ—the risen King of kings!

Through the Fire - Lyrics

So many times I've questioned certain circumstances
Or things I could not understand
And many times in trials weakness blurs my vision
And then my frustration gets so out of hand

Oh! But it's then I am reminded, I've never been forsaken
And I've never had to stand one test alone
That's when I look at all the victories, and the Spirit rises up in me
And It's through the fire my weakness is made strong

Oh! He never promised that the cross would not get heavy
And the hill would not be hard to climb
He never offered our victories without fighting
But He said help would always come in time

Just remember when you're standing in the valley of decision
And the advisory says give in
Just hold on
Our Lord will show up!
And He will take you through the fire again!

Spoken: Here's the key to it church

I know within myself that I would surly perish
Oh! But if I trust the Mighty hand of God, He'll shield the flames again

He never promised that the cross would not get heavy
And the hill would not be hard to climb
Oh! No!
He never offered our victories without fighting
But He said help would always come in time

Just remember when you're standing in the valley of decision
And the advisory says give in
Just hold on
Our Lord will show up
And He will take you through the fire again

Just hold on
Our Lord will show up!
And He will take you through the fire again!

Jesus is LORD!

Time is growing short!

Seek Him!

   Romans 10:9-10

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

---------------------------------

If you've made this decision—believed it in your heart and confessed it with your mouth—let God speak to you by reading the Bible—and seek out fellowship with others who also believe.

Pour out your heart to God in Prayer (simply speaking to Him in reverence)—asking Him to reveal Himself to you and to provide for your needs.

Life in Jesus is the best decision you will ever make.

God Bless You!

    1. Yes! Amen and amen, Brenda. These lyrics definitely speak to all our Lord Jesus has done through-out my life. How excellent it is to know Him! Can you believe we are almost through another year? It's seems like just weeks ago I was searching for 2018 Christmas music to share here. ☺ God Bless you my sister and thank you as always!
