Classic Gospel! Ernest Franklin - My Lord And I - And Two More Tracks From Close To Thee Album

YouTube's Gospel Nostalgia channel just uploaded a three tracks from Ernest Franklin's "Close To Thee Album" recorded in 1972.

(Sadly, according to the channel, the rest of the album is no longer available)

That music only video (found below) begins with, My Lord and I.

Then Nobody but You Lord starts at 2:45

And finally, There’s A Leak in This Old Building begins at 6:10

All three songs are excellent, although I admit I'm especially partial to the first track.

If you're a fan of that Classic Gospel sound I'm betting you'll love these tracks too.

So give this video a spin and allow God to pour his Love and Power in to your heart and life through Franklin's excellent music!

Lyrics are found under the video

My Lord And I - Lyrics

Well, you know we gonna walk
This road to Glory
Children, My Lord and I
And we'll talk and tell the story
My Lord and I

Rain or shine, snow or sleet,
The Blessed Lord, is going to guide my feet
And we'll walk this road to Glory
My Lord and I

Repeats

Well my steps are growing feeble
Oh, my eyes are growing dim
I can feel God's arms around me
And I'm leaning hard on Him

Now when my earthly friends forsake me
I've got another Friend
He's up on high
One day we'll walk this road to Glory
My Lord and I

May God Richly Bless you!

Jesus is LORD!

Time is growing short!

Seek Him!

   Romans 10:9-10

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

---------------------------------

If you've made this decision—believed it in your heart and confessed it with your mouth—let God speak to you by reading the Bible—and seek out fellowship with others who also believe.

Pour out your heart to God in Prayer (simply speaking to Him in reverence)—asking Him to reveal Himself to you and to provide for your needs.

Life in Jesus is the best decision you will ever make.

God Bless You!

As you probably know I love this particular style of music — and anything that shares a testimony about or praise for our Lord Jesus. I hope you and your family and loved ones have a wonderful Holiday season — I pray for you all!
