Shawn Jones & The Believers - I'm Depending on You

Hello brothers and sisters,

Today's music is from Shawn Jones & The Believers and their Gospel song, "I'm Depending on You."

There is something deeply touching about listening to Shawn Jones sing about his need for Jesus as Lord—knowing that he went to his Eternal reward during a 2017 performance.

There is sadness for those who remain and miss Jones' earthly presence—but the Bible reminds us—this life is not the end—and if we cling to Jesus as Lord and Savior—we will live eternally in God's presence, where He will wipe away every tear and there will be no more pain or suffering.

I pray that as you listen God will permeate your heart with His Truth—and that He will flood you with the knowledge of His Love, Healing, Mercy, and Grace.

I'm Depending on You - Lyrics

Growing up as a child
In my mother's care
My mother told me
He (Jesus) will always be there

Now, I'm a grown man
Living on my own
I can truly say
Jesus, he ain't never left me alone

Every now and then I have to tell Him

Lord I'm depending on you

Repeats with variations

I'm depending on Jesus!

Philippians 4   6-7

Thanks so much for stopping by—

May God Richly Bless you!

Jesus is LORD!

Time is growing short!

Seek Him!

   Romans 10:9-10

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

---------------------------------

If you've made this decision—believed it in your heart and confessed it with your mouth—let God speak to you by reading the Bible—and seek out fellowship with others who also believe.

Pour out your heart to God in Prayer (simply speaking to Him in reverence)—asking Him to reveal Himself to you and to provide for your needs.

Life in Jesus is the best decision you will ever make.

May God Bless You!

  1. Hi Jephyr,
yes, once again I am reminded not to be anxious about anything, as that could only take away the peace that I have in Jesus. It is so important that we take every thought captive and bring it into obedience to that Word.
God bless you and yours Jephyr.

    1. Amen, Brenda! I love the verse in John 14:27 when Jesus says: "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." God Bless and Heal you, Brenda, in the name of Jesus!
