Come Ye Sinners - Jami Smith

Hi!

I pray you are feeling Blessed today!

Recently I heard a snippet of Come Ye Sinners by Jami Smith on my car radio—and looked it up on-line when I got home.

I ended up loving the track's entire feel, arrangement, guitar parts, production, Jami's voice and backing vocals—and the appeal for all of us to "Run To Jesus"—the Lord of life and the King of Glory!

I pray it will also speak to your heart—and draw you closer to the King of kings—Jesus, our beautiful, living Savior!

Come Ye Sinners - Lyrics

Come ye sinners, poor and needy
Weak and wounded, sick and sore
Jesus ready, stands to save you
Full of Pity, Love and Power

Come ye thirsty, come and welcome
God's free bounty, glorify
True belief and true repentance
Every Grace that brings us nigh

I will rise and go to Jesus
He will embrace me in His arms
And in the arms of my dear Savior
Oh, there are ten thousand charms

Wordnik: Definition of Charm
Come ye weary, heavy-laden
Lost and ruined by the fall
If you tarry until you're better
You may never come at all

I will rise and go to Jesus
He will embrace me in His arms
And in the arms of my dear Savior
Oh, there are ten thousand charms
Ten thousand charms
Ten thousand charms

I will rise and go to Jesus
He will embrace me in His arms
And in the arms of my dear Savior
Oh, there are ten thousand charms

I will rise and go to Jesus
He will embrace me in His arms
And in the arms of my dear Savior
Oh, there are ten thousand charms
Ten thousand charms

Calling You
Needing You
Hear our cry, God
Loving You

I'm calling You
I'm needing You
Hear our cry, God
We are loving You

Oh, there are ten thousand charms

In the arms
In the loving arms of Jesus
Oh, my Jesus
There are ten thousand charms

Calling You
I'm Needing You
Hear our cry, God
We are loving You

I'm calling You
I'm needing You
I'm loving You
Hear our cry.....

Jesus is LORD!

Time is growing short!

Seek Him!

-------------------------------------------

   Romans 10:9-10

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

---------------------------------

If you've made this decision—believed it in your heart and confessed it with your mouth—let God speak to you by reading the Bible—and seek out fellowship with others who also believe.

Pour out your heart to God in Prayer (simply speaking to Him in reverence)—asking Him to reveal Himself to you and to provide for your needs.

Life in Jesus is the best decision you will ever make.

God Bless!

Romans 5:1-2

  1. Jephyr, once again a beautiful post. The painting is lovely and the song is such a beautiful message and prayer. You are a true evangelist. One of the reason I love the blogger church is that we can always return to each others blog and read up on posts that we may not have been able to look at when they were put up. Although many bloggers put posts up maybe once a week, mine may take a month or more to be written. However, as the scriptures say that there is a time for everything, I know that whenever I read whatever I am to read it is always at the perfect time. Blogs are like books that we can pick up and read at any time.
God bless you Jephyr as you continue to do what the Lord has brought you to do.

    1. Thank you for your lovely and encouraging comment, Brenda. I love that you use the term blogger church. :) It perfectly captures the fellowship we have on-line with other Christians. Yes, we each have our own time-table for posting—and I do look forward to reading yours when you post them—or days, weeks, months, or even years after you've shared one. As I'm sure you do—I feel that God has given me the desire to share my faith on this blog and always pray that it turns hearts and minds of anyone who checks them out to our Lord Jesus. God Bless you as well, Brenda—and thank you again.
