O Holy Night - Celtic Woman

Matthew 1:18-25 - Painting:  "The Adoration Of The
Shepherds" - Gerard Van Honthorst - 1622
Hi!

Christmas 2018—when many Christians the world over celebrate the birth of Jesus the Messiah—is rapidly approaching.

As mentioned in a recent post—I've been looking for appropriate Christmas music to share with you—and just found this lovely version of O Holy Night by the Irish group Celtic Woman.

According to their website, Celtic Woman has been performing since 1996 and is based in Dublin, the capitol of Ireland.  They've released a number of concert videos and albums with songs often reflecting Christian themes.

Today's video features their beautiful live performance of O Holy Night—inter-cut with related images and video illuminating the song.

I pray their version of O Holy Night will Bless you—and fill your heart to over-flowing with the the Love,Comfort, and Healing of Jesus the Christ during this holiday season and forever more!!

 O Holy Night - Lyrics

O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of the dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till He appeared and the Spirit felt its worth
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn

Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!
O night divine, the night when Christ was born
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!

Chains shall he break, for the slave is our brother
And in his name all oppression shall cease
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we
Let all within us praise His holy name

Christ is the Lord! Then ever, ever praise we,
Noel *, Noel, O night, O night divine,

Noel, Noel, O night, O night divine,

------------------------------------------

* Noel is defined as “a shout of joy or Christmas song.”

Thanks so much for stopping by!

May God Richly Bless you!

Jesus is LORD!

Time is growing short!

Seek Him!

   Romans 10:9-10

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

---------------------------------

If you've made this decision — believed it in your heart and confessed it with your mouth — let God speak to you by reading the Bible — and seek out fellowship with others who also believe.

Pour out your heart to God in Prayer (simply speaking to Him in reverence) — asking Him to reveal Himself to you and to provide for your needs.

Life in Jesus is the best decision you will ever make.

God Bless!

1 Peter 1:8-9

  1. Jephyr,
you definitely have been given the gift of evangelizing, and this post is beautiful and will speak to those who know Jesus and those who do not. I know my healing is a promise of God that is on its way, I have been given many encouraging scriptures from the Lord. I know absolutely, through experiencing healing and a miracle in the past, that God is not a man that He should lie, and I know that your prayer for me is a prayer of faith.
God bless you and yours at this festive season.

    1. Thank you so much Brenda. Sharing Jesus with those who don't know Him yet—and encouraging those who already do—is definitely what is on my heart to do on this blog. I'm always happy to hear that you are clinging in faith to the Scripture God is giving to you. I've also had physical miracles and KNOW God's healing power too. As always I join you in asking God to heal you—for His Glory—even as He refreshes the dry bones of His people! In Jesus name!! God Bless you and all those you love Brenda!
