Decibelle - Your Love Broke Through

As things usually go when surfing the internet — I find myself going from one crest of a wave to another — and sometimes I come across a real gem.

Tonight I was reminded of the Keith Green classic Your Love Broke Through — a beautiful song about coming to the end of ourselves and finally seeing God's love — and did a search for it on YouTube.

I listened to several other versions and happened upon one that quite literally brought a smile to my face.

A music only video - it's description says it's by the "girlband" Decibelle — and was produced recently by Tumo Center for Creative Technologies in Armenia.

The song was written by Keith Green, Randy Stonehill and Todd Fishkind around 1977— and was recorded individually by Green, Phil Keaggy, Stonehill, and others at that time — and many other artists have covered it since then.

This version by Decibelle is superbly arranged and performed — and sung sweetly and beautifully by lead vocalist, Mariam Mirzoyan.

I noticed that Keith Green's widow Melody Green commented on the video — and wonder if that means she had some kind of hand in approving the song's use or perhaps more.
