Hi!

So this kid from the Colorado Mountains continues to uncover wonderful Gospel music gems.

Thank you Father!

Just a moment ago I came across "Touch Me Jesus" by Margret Allison.

According to the Journal Of Gospel Music, Sister Allison was a pioneer in early gospel recording — and wrote and recorded a number of gospel classics — and performed with Gospel luminaries such as the Dixie Hummingbirds, Mahalia Jackson, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Shirley Caesar, and many others.

This dear sister went on to her eternal reward in 2008 at the age of 87.

Below you'll find an embedded video of her testimony about relying on God through a health trial — and then her performance of her classic Gospel Song — "Touch Me Lord Jesus."

If you want to skip straight to the music it begins at about 2:21 — but I think her words will Bless you too!

Hope you love this video and song as much as I do!

Touch Me Lord Jesus - Margret Allison- Lyrics

Touch, Touch me Lord Jesus,

With Thy hand of mercy,

Make each throbbing heartbeat,

Feel Thy power divine,

Take my will forever,

I will doubt Thee never,

Oh, cleanse, cleanse me dear Savior,

Make me wholly Thine,

Guide, Guide Me Jehovah,

Through this veil of sorrow,

I am saved forever,

Trusting in Thy love,

Bail me through the current,

O'er the chilly Jordan,

Lead, lead dear Master,

To Thy home above,

-----------------------------------------

Thanks so much for stopping by!

May God Richly Bless you!

Jesus is LORD!

Seek Him!

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
